Membership in the Association shall be open to any individual, family, business, or organization, that (a) subscribes to the purposes of the Association and (b) resides within one mile of the chain of lakes at least one month each year, or any individual that owns real estate within one mile of the chain of lakes or (c) who resides within the Town of Fifield Fire District #2 at least one month each year, or who owns real estate in the Town of Fifield Fire District #2.
Membership dues are currently $25 per calendar year. Since the Lake Association is a 501(c)(3) organization, all contributions are tax deductible. In order to retain voting rights and receive all Association communications, dues must be paid by the date of the Association’s annual meeting which is currently held the first or second weekend in June.
To join or renew your membership, click on the button below to process your membership online (note: you will be taken to the PLCLA CheddarUp payment page). There is a nominal service fee for using the online option.
If you would rather join or renew via paper form, download the PDF Membership Form below, print and complete it, enclose a check made out to Pike Lake Chain Lakes Association, and mail to the address on the form.
The main benefit of your membership is that you are supporting the efforts of the Association to improve our lakes. Membership dues are the main source of revenue for the Association and go towards funding the various projects undertaken by the Association during the year.
A second benefit is that you will be kept informed on what is happening with or concerning our lakes. This includes information on zoning issues, DNR rulings, Association projects, the health of the fish population, and the water quality.
In addition to the above: members have voting rights which are typically exercised at the annual meetings; will receive our periodic newsletter and other communications either by direct mail or e-mail; and will be included in any surveys taken by the Association.
Our Association has been fortunate to maintain a relatively stable number of members over the years. Below is a summary of our annual membership.
The purpose of the Pike Lake Chain Lakes Association is to preserve and protect the Pike Lake Chain of Lakes and their surroundings, and to enhance the water quality, fishery, boating safety, and aesthetic values of the Pike Lake Chain of Lakes, as a public recreational facility for today and for future generations.
