Adopt-A-Highway Cleanup

Spring is here—time to freshen things up! PLCLA will be hosting an Adopt-A-Highway cleanup on Saturday, April 25th at 9:00 AM.
We’re looking for volunteers to help keep our area looking its best. With a group of 10–12 people, the project should go quickly—about an hour of your time. Our section covers approximately 2½ miles of Highway 70 between Hemlock and Smith Rapids Road. We had a great turnout last fall, and it was a fun way to meet neighbors and give back to the community.
Safety vests and trash bags are provided by the DOT. New volunteers will need to review some information and watch a brief safety video—helpful and easy to complete.
If you’re interested in participating, please reach out via email at [email protected] or call/text 920-213-9030. We’ll meet at our usual location: about one mile west of Hemlock Road, on the service road on the north side of Highway 70 that leads to the USFS storage facility. If you’re new, please include your email so a link to the safety materials can be sent to you.
Thank you in advance for your support!
